Founded September 2017
LEGENDS OF Creativity
Founded by Vern Harris in 2017, Legends of Creativity is a Los Angeles luxury lifestyle label built around expressive design, premium fabrics, and the belief that what you wear should speak before you do. ILMG has shaped the brand from its launch onward—developing its strategy, producing cultural activations, and translating each collection into film, photography, and visual storytelling.
Chapter 01
The Launch

Vern Harris introduced Legends of Creativity during New York Fashion Week in September 2017 through an immersive live-mannequin pop-up. Instead of presenting the debut collection on a conventional runway, the experience placed the clothes, music, and audience inside one shared environment. ILMG conceived and produced the activation, with music curated by DJ Envy of The Breakfast Club.

Chapter 02
The Evolution
What began as a New York Fashion Week activation has evolved into a four-collection luxury label. Designed and produced in Los Angeles, the collections move between elevated sportswear, relaxed tailoring, statement sets, and travel-inspired silhouettes, using materials such as velvet, suede, corduroy, linen, silk, and wool.
Across every chapter, ILMG has helped turn the clothing into a wider brand world—producing campaigns, films, photography, and editorial content that give each collection its own setting, mood, and visual identity.
Chapter 03
Cultural Visibility
Legends of Creativity has moved beyond campaign imagery and into international cultural moments. Olympic fencer Miles Chamley-Watson has worn the label at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, Formula 1 Australian Grand Prix, Miami E-Prix, and Coachella.
One of those appearances was recognized by GQ Australia among the standout celebrity looks of the 2024 Formula 1 season. The brand also appeared in social content produced for Mercedes-Benz, extending its visibility across fashion, sport, music, and automotive culture.
Chapter 04
The Collections
Four collections trace the evolution of Legends of Creativity—from graphic, street-informed foundations to richer textiles, expressive tailoring, and a fully realized language of destination dressing.
The Debut
Collection 01
The debut collection established the brand’s original vocabulary: logo track sets, mesh jerseys, longline hooded knits, and heavyweight fleece. Photographed across downtown rooftops, residential streets, and the garage where the earliest pieces were developed, the campaign presented sportswear as both personal expression and statement of intent.

Wanderlust
Collection 02
Wanderlust expanded the brand’s world through movement, leisure, and escape. Photographed over a single day in Los Angeles, the campaign moved between a vintage Mercedes convertible, a hillside residence, and a pool deck. Silk, velvet, and ponte fabrics brought texture, structure, and fluidity to the collection, presenting each look as part of a continuous travel story rather than an isolated catalogue image.

An Ode to Travel
Collection 03
Photographed throughout Miami, An Ode to Travel transformed the city’s Art Deco architecture into a vivid backdrop for the collection. Moving between Hotel Impala, Hotel Cliff, the Avalon Hotel, and a beachfront night shoot, the campaign paired brocade, satin, crystal detailing, and expressive prints with saturated walls, neon signage, and vintage automobiles.

Luxe Sojourn
Collection 04
Luxe Sojourn, the fourth Legends of Creativity collection, places material, contrast, and relaxed luxury at the center of the story. Corduroy, silk, houndstooth wool, linen, and leopard-print cotton are shaped into coordinated sets and expressive separates designed and produced in Los Angeles. Photographed across a garage studio, residential exteriors, and the shoreline at dusk, the campaign frequently pairs its subjects so that color, texture, and silhouette exist in conversation. The result is a collection that feels both traveled and distinctly rooted in Los Angeles.

The philosophy behind every collection:
“What you wear should say something before you do.”
